Meet Ron Finn, the innovative mind behind SepticCFU products. Born in Austin, Texas, Ron's journey is rooted in a deep understanding of complex chemical and biological processes, honed through years of diverse experience.
A petroleum engineer by trade, Ron graduated in 1985 and immediately put his expertise to work. In 1986, he founded American Chem-dry, where for 13 years he specialized in tackling challenging issues like mildew and animal urine removal. This early venture laid crucial groundwork for his future explorations into effective biological treatments.
The Engineer Who Cleans Up: Experience That Protects
Ron's career also includes significant time in the Oil Field as a Frac Engineer, further developing his problem-solving skills and understanding of industrial-scale chemical applications.
His entrepreneurial spirit led him to found Terramed Remediation LLC, a company he successfully ran for several years. During this time, Ron achieved remarkable results, including the impressive feat of removing algae bloom from Mammoth Lake in Lake Jackson, Texas. These successes showcase his ability to apply scientific principles to real-world environmental challenges.
Ron's commitment to innovation is evident in his numerous patent filings for various products, including those designed to consume septic sludge and a range of animal repellent products. His engineering background, combined with his experience in developing and improving oil field technologies, allowed him to invent several groundbreaking methods for removing methane gas and biomass in human and animal spaces.
Interestingly, the inspiration for some of his most unique products came from an unexpected place. While in the lab working to eliminate the odor from animal urine, Ron had a serendipitous "a-ha!" moment. He stumbled upon the ingenious idea of strategically placing predator scents outdoors to effectively repel nuisance species like deer, pigs, and other unwanted guests from yards and ranches.
