FinnCo CFU1000 Soil-Med is an innovative Bio-reactor Soil Cleaning  blend of US commercially produced spore-forming microorganisms loaded on vermiculite. Our bioremediation formulation comes in a granule form as a dry micro bio-reactor delivery system. These reactors displace  other pathogenic bacteria by competitive processes.

Used by oil field operations, FinnCo CFU 1000 Soil-Med helps eliminate organic sludge and oil by consuming the following:

  • Oil
  • Gasoline
  • Diesel
  • Grease

FinnCo's CFU1000 Soil-Med - Bioreactor Cleaning Solution for Soil:

  • Safely reduces organic waste
  • Creates an optimal balance of natural, beneficial microbes
  • Requires less soil removal and remediation

Product Application Protocol:

FinnCo's CFU1000 Soil-Med application rates for soil are based on the specific site characteristics. Consideration of type and concentration of contaminant, soil type, weather conditions and, as relevant, groundwater hydrology and geology. Clean-up standards and the time frame for treatment should also be considered.

Two other factors that should be evaluated are the time frame in which the project is to be completed and the clean-up standards based on regulatory or customer  requirements. FinnCo products are ready for use from the container.

Coverage:

  • For surface contamination to a depth of 3 inches, 5 gallons of product will
    treat approximately 4,000 square feet.

 After application:

  • The soil should be saturated to minimum 25% water to allow complete saturation of the soil to be treated. The amount of water required should be determined  before treatment. Use hydrometer to achieve and maintain 25% moisture levels for best results.

Application:

  • Use a broadcast spreader for application. Although the product is safe for human handling we recommend that application users wear protective gear when handling the product. This includes using an N90 or equivalent mask during the application process and avoiding direct contact with the product.
  • It should be noted that the application rates can vary from site to site depending on volume of contamination. Product and nutrient rates can easily be increased in the field to help accelerate your project.
